- Newspaper Obituary - Monday, September 10, 2001 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - MARSHALL T. MINOT SR. - Marshall T. Minot Sr., 84, of 2577 county Route 2, Richland, died Saturday. Born in Richland, he graduated from Pulaski High School in 1934. He retired in 1989 after 60 years as owner and operator of M & M Farms. He was Richland town justice for 33 years and served on the Oswego County Soil and Water Board. He was a member and deacon of Pulaski Baptist Church, 65-year member of Pulaski Grange 730 and member of Pulaski Masonic Lodge 415 F&AM. A son, Marvin L., died in 1993. Survivors: His wife of 60 years, the former Mildred Lester; a daughter, Marianne J. of Watertown; three sons, Michael E. of Warren, Ohio, Dr. Melvyn C. of Richland and Marshall T. Jr. of Pulaski; four grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial, Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours, 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 52 Park St., Pulaski. Newspaper Obituary - Monday, September 10, 2001 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Marshall T. Minot Sr., 84, of 2577 County Route 2, died Saturday in Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. Mr. Minot retired in 1989 after 60 years as owner and operator of M&M Farms. He was Richland town justice for 33 years and served on the Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District board. He was a former member of the Agway committee. He was a member and deacon of Pulaski Baptist Church, a 65-year member of Pulaski Grange 730 and a member of Pulaski Masonic Lodge 415. Born April 15, 1917, in the town of Richland, son of Edwin and Eva Lighthall Minot, he graduated from Pulaski High School in 1934. He married Mildred Lester on Aug. 31, 1941, at the Baptist church in Pulaski with the Rev. W.R. Rogers officiating. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Marianne J. Minot, Watertown; three sons, Michael E., Warren, Ohio, Dr. Melvyn C., Richland, and Marshall T. Jr., Pulaski, and four grandchildren. A son, Marvin L., died in 1993. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
