MEXICO - Services for Emilie Koenig, 86, a former Mexico resident, who died Friday at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton, will be Tuesday at Harter Olmstead Funeral Home, Mexico. Spring burial will be in the Mexico Village Cemetery. She was the widow of Emil Koenig, who died in 1975. Surviving are three daughters. Mrs. Ruby Dumas. Mrs. Florence McEwen and Mrs. Irene Vecchio all of Fulton; two sons Harold and Victor, both of Fulton. two sisters. Burial in Mexico Village Cemetery.
Newspaper Obituary - February 8, 1981 Syracuse Herald American - Mrs. Emilie Koenig - Mexico - Mrs. Emilie Koenig, 86, formerly of North Street, died Friday at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. Born in Minnesota Jan. 20, 1895, she was the daughter of Martin and Mathilda Keem Zimmerman. She came to Mexico in 1918. She was the widow of Emil Koenig, who died in 1975. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Dumas, Mrs. Florence McEwen and Mrs. Irene Vecchio, all of Fulton; two sons, Harold and Victor, both of Fulton; two sister, Mrs. Hilda Fuhrman of Graceville, Minn., and Mrs. Thekla Ellinghuysen of Winona, Minn.; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Two sons, Lawrence and Harvey died several years ago. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Harter-Olmstewad Funeral Home, the Rev. Richard Northrop of Fulton officiating. Spring burial will be in Mexico Village Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
