Newspaper Obituary - Thursday April 21, 1966 The Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Sandy Creek - Alfred Frederick Weisenburger died Wednesday in the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown, after a lingering illness. Born in Presho, South Dakota, May 7, 1909, he was the son of Adam and Katherine Frommer Weisenburger. He spent his early life in Iowa where he attended school and later moved to Pulaski. He was associated with his brother Emil in Lacona where they operated a garage and was later employed by New York State. He was a life member of the Sandy Pond Rod and Gun Club, a member of the Lacona Fire Department for 28 years and a former member of the IOOF of Pulaski. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mable Fox Weisenburger; three sons, Lawrence of Pulaski; James, who is serving in Guam; and David of Rome; a daughter, Mrs. Craig (Darcy) Stevens, Pulaski; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Alexander (Edna) Hatton, Pulaski, and Mrs. James (Della) Whittle, New York City; and two brothers, Carl of Pulaski and Woodrow of Jacksonville, Florida. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Woodard funeral home, the Rev. Robert Bird, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willis cemetery, South Richland. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
