    • November 29, 1940 Wilkes Barre Record - John Johnson - John Johnson, 59, a well known resident of 448 East Main Street, Plymouth, died yesterday morning in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital. He was stricken ill while at work Tuesday at the Hunlock Creek plant of the Luzerne County Gas and Electric Company. Mr. Johnson resided at Plymouth for the last 15 years, moving there with his family from Shickshinny where they lived for many years. Surviving are these children, Carl Johnson, Plymouth; Earl, Geraldine and Emily Johnson, at home, and Mrs. Louis Giomboni, Plainsville; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, Shickshinny; two brothers and a sister, Harry and Willard Johnson and Mrs. Scott Kline, all of Shickshinny. Funeral services will be conducted from the home Saturday afternoon at 2 with Rev. G. Hale Bucher of First Presbyterian Church, Plymouth officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park, West Nanticoke.
