    • Newspaper Obituary - September 10, 1969 Watertown Daily Times - Robt. Ewart Dies at 58 - Pulaski - Robert J Ewart, 58, of 7736 North St. died this morning at 10 in Mercy Hospital, Watertown, where he was admitted Monday, following a short illness. Friends may call Thursday and Friday at the Foster Funeral Home. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Leola Ewart; a son, Lewis R., Camden; five grandchildren, and his mother, Mrs. Clara Ewart, Pulaski, R.D. Born May 25, 1911, in the Town of Albion, a son of Ben and Clara Dawley Ewart, he was graduated from Pulaski High School. He married Leola Keeney Aug. 14, 1937, in Osceola, with Rev. Charles Rowley officiating. The couple has lived all their married life in Pulaski. Mr. Ewart was employed as a carpenter on various construction jobs in the region. He was a member and treasur er of the Ringgold Fire Dept.; a member, of the Albion Fish and Game Club; Oswego County Federation of Sportsmen; Mad River Game Club, and was moderator of the deer forum held in Pulaski this spring.
