Newspaper Obituary - Friday, April 10, 1970 The Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Louis G.. Manwaring, 53, Pulaski, RD 1, died Thursday afternoon at the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Syracuse, after a short illness. He was born June 20, 1916 at Pulaski and had attended Pulaski Academy and Central Schools. He was a veteran of World War II, having serving from November 1942, to March 1946. He was a former employee of the Sealright Company, and the Fulton Boiler Works, retiring in 1963 due to ill health. He was a member of the Fernwood Baptist church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sue O. Flatt Manwaring; two sons, Larry A. of Clewiston, Florida and Jerry L. Manwaring, at Morrisville Agricultural and Technical College; a daughter, Miss Cecilia S. Manwaring, a student at Jefferson Community College; his mother, Mrs. Eva Manwaring of Pulaski; five brothers Arnold of Altmar, Roland and Donald, all of Pulaski, Herbert of Kirtland, Ohio, and Robert Manwaring of Mexico; a sister, Mrs. June Jordal of Pulaski; several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Foster Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
