- Newspaper Obituary - August 8, 2013 Post-Standard, Syracuse, New York - MANWARING - Arnold F. Manwaring - August 5, 2013 - Arnold F. Manwaring, age 84, resident of Altmar since 1958, passed away Monday at Loretto's Fahey Rehabilitation Center in Syracuse. Arnold was born December 10, 1928 in Richland. He attended Daysville School in the Town of Richland, and he served in the National Guard. Arnold married Rosina Hotelling on March 10, 1956. He was employed by NYS Department of Transportation in Mexico for 32 years, retiring in 1984. He also drove school bus for the APW School District for 13 years, and owned and operated a farm for many years. Surviving are his wife, Rosina; three daughters, Avis (James) Peterson of Central Square, Cynthia (Keon) Wild of Mexico, Dorothy (Richard) Beck of Mexico; two sons, Jeffrey (Kris) Manwaring of Hamilton and Lyle (Lisa) Manwaring of Boise, ID; two brothers, Robert and Roland Manwaring, both of Pulaski, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Suki. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in Maplelawn Cemetery in Dugway. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Friends of Homeless Animals, 432 Centerville Rd., Richland, NY 13144.
