    • Benjamin Ewart - December 22, 1879 - June 3, 1962. Husband of Clara Eleta Dawley Ewart.
      Newspaper Obituary - hand dated June 3, 1962 (newspaper unavailable) - Pulaski - Ben Ewart, 82, of Pulaski, RD 4, died Sunday in a hospital near Utica where he had been a patient since February 22. He was born December 22, 1879 in Pulaski, a son of Robert and Elizabeth Ingersoll Ewart and was educated in the local schools. He married Miss Clara Dawley here on June 25, 1902. For years he was a cheese maker in the Orwell area and later became a farmer and carpenter, retiring five years ago. During World War II he taught shop in the Altmar school. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Robert, of Pulaski; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. W. Russell Clark, pastor of Park Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
