Newspaper Obituary - Thursday June 21, 1962 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Local Man Found Dead At Roadside ¬Mexico - Raymond E. Manwaring, father of five, was found dead in a ditch on Hamilton Street early Monday. He was believed to have been run over by his own truck, which was found across the road in a field with the light still on. Mr. Manwaring was born March 7, 1919 in Pulaski, the son of Ora and Eva Grieb Manwaring. He owned and operated a farm just outside the village on the standpipe Road, for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Texas Rod and Gun Club. He is survived by his wife the former Virginia Heagerty, five daughters, Janice (a member of the 1962 graduating class at MACS), Judith, Valerie, Veronica and Ramona, all at home. His six brothers all of Pulaski, are Lewis, Herbert, Donald, Arnold, Robert and Roland and one sister, Mrs. Calvin Jordal of Pulaski. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Zimmer officiating. Interment in the Willis Cemetery.
