    • Newspaper Obituary - November 19, 1964 Pulaski Democrat - F. Butterworth Rites Friday - Fred Butterworth, 87, retired farmer of Albion Cross Road, died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Syracuse where he had been a patient five days. He had been in poor health several years. Funeral services will be held at the family home Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Nelson Reppert, pastor of Altmar Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery. Friends may call at the home at their convenience. Suriving are his wife, Mrs. Lena Stewart Butterworth; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Esther) Quackenbush of Parish; two sons, Leo at home and Lawrence of Mattydale; two grand children and four great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Frank (Ruby) Brundage of Buffalo. Mr. Butterworth was born June 15, 1877, in the same house where he had lived all his life. His parents were Lawrence and Florence Fuller Butterworth. He was married to Miss Lena Stewart on July 4, 1905. He had been a member of the Pulaski I.O.O.F. Lodge for 59 years, of the Albion Center Grange for 52 years and of the Pineville Methodist Church for 44 years.
