- Newspaper Obituary - Friday January 14, 2000 The Post Standard (Syracuse, NY) - Boneita C. Salisbury, 69, of 232 Canning Factory Road,Richland,died Wednesday at home. She was a life resident of Richland and attended Richland schools. She was employed at Rome Cable, Syracuse China and Phinney's Egg Farm in Mannsville. Survivors: Her husband, Walter; a daughter, Sandra Dye of DeKalb Junction; six sons, Walter Jr. of Richland, Lawrence, Ricky, Mark and Robert, all of Pulaski, and Charles of Sandy Creek; three brothers, Robert Tilkins of Sarver, Pa., Ronald Tilkins of Baltimore, Md., and John Tilkins of North Syracuse; 12 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Spring burial, Richland Cemetery. Calling hours 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 52 Park St., Pulaski. Newspaper Obituary - Friday January 14, 2000 Watertown Daily Times (NY) - Boneita C. Salisbury Life Resident of Richland - Boneita C. Salisbury, 69, of 232 Canning Factory Road, died Wednesday at her home. Mrs. Salisbury worked at Rome Cable, Syracuse China and Phinney's Farm in Mannsville. Born June 16, 1930, in Richland, daughter of Louis and Florence Mae Brown Tilkins, she was a life resident of Richland and attended Richland schools. She married Walter Salisbury on Aug. 16, 1947. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Sandra Dye, DeKalb Junction; six sons, Walter Jr., Richland, Lawrence, Ricky, Mark and Robert, all of Pulaski, and Charles, Sandy Creek; three brothers, Robert Tilkins, Sarver, Pa., Ronald Tilkins, Baltimore, Md., and John Tilkins, North Syracuse, 12 grandchildren and a great- grandchild. Two brothers, Donald and Richard Tilkins, and four sisters, Norma Wilson, Mary Bielewicz, Dorothy Tilkins and Eileen Skotnicki, died before her. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Paul Windhausen officiating. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Oswego County Hospice, P.O. Box 102, Oswego, N.Y. 13126.
