    • Newspaper Obituary - March 29, 1992 Syracuse Herald American - Pauline T. Horr, 84, of 8171 Centerport Road, Port Byron, died Saturday at her home after a long illness. A native of Norwich, Mrs. Horr lived most of her life in the Port Byron area. She attended the Port Byron Federated Church and was a member of the OES Auburn Chapter and the Rebecca Lodge in Auburn. She was the widow of LaVerne E. Horr, who died in 1990. Mrs. Horr is survived by a son, LaVerne E. Horr Jr. of Port Byron; three daughters, Etta Mae Chamberlin of Elbridge, June McDowell of Port Byron and Norma Bidwell of Port Byron; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Jewell Funeral Home, 8886 S. Seneca St., Weedsport with the Rev. William Taber and the Rev. Barton VanVliet officiating. Spring burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Throop. Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 25 William St., Auburn.
