    • Joseph C. Baumgartner and Maude B. Baumgartner lived on Rt. 20 by 1928. Mr. Baumgartner was born in PA about 1883, and was a machinist for 25 years before becoming a farmer. Mrs. Baumgartner was born in SD about 1891, and the couple wed about 1913. They moved to the Pompey-Manlius area about 1920. Mr. Baumgartner died on 10-11-1963, and Mrs. Baumgartner died on 2-26-1967. They had: Joseph E. Baumgartner, who was born on 8-21-1915, wed Flora Haley, retired in 1979 as a school custodian, lived in Mexico, NY, 45 years, and died on 4-13-1988, Emmett Baumgartner, (see above), and Minyon Baumgartner, who was born on 3-24-1924, wed Edgar W. Stewart, worked for the Lerner Shop in Fayetteville, and lived on Rt. 20, near Pompey, at her death on 10-8-1986.
