    • Newspaper Obituary - December 11, 2012 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - December 8, 2012 - Edward H. Murray, 79, of Mexico, died Saturday at the Oswego Hospital. He was born in Richland, son of the late Roy P. and Irene Burns Murray. He was an Army veteran serving from 1953 to 1955. He was a heavy equipment operator for the New York State Dept. of Transportation in Mexico and Maple View. He was a member of the Mexico First United Methodist Church. Surviving: his wife, the former Nancy Ramsey; and one daughter, Amy M. Murray. Memorial service will be at a time to be announced in the spring. Burial is in Mexico Village Cemetery. Friends may call 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ed's memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Mexico.
