    • Newspaper Obituary - April 27, 1987 Pulaski Democrat - Dorothy E. Obleman - Dorothy E. Obleman, 78, of Wilder Drive died Wednesday, April 22, 1987 at her home. Mrs. Obleman was born in Pulaski. Her husband, Nelson, died in 1972. The Oblemans owned and operated the Filkins House, a bar and restaurant, from 1962 to 1976. Mrs. Obleman was a member of the Richland Fire Department Auxiliary. Surviving are a son, Robert of Balfour, Calif, a brother, John Filkins of Florida; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services were at. 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, the Rev. Dennis Burns officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours were 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Richland Park and Recreation Association.
