- Newspaper Obituary - September 27, 1972 Pulaski Democrat - E. Wayne Lighthall Dies Suddenly - E. Wayne Lighthall, 75, of R.D. 2 Pulaski died unexpectantly at his home on Monday, September 11. Born April 26, 1897, in Richland, son of Elton and Anna Ames Lighthall, he attended Pulaski Academy and after high school was manager of Woolworth Stores in Pittsford and Arlington, Mass. He was married July 4, 1927 to Amey Morgan of Skaneateles. For a few years he farmed in Marathon, N.Y. In 1942 he moved to his present farm on Lake Rd. Mrs. Lighthall died May 29, 1966. He was a member of Pulaski Grange. He is survived by one son Elton W. Lighthall of Pulaski and one granddaughter Michelle Lighthall, age two; two brothers Lawson M. Lighthall of Pulaski and Noel H. of Pulaski, two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Leona) Balcom of Pulaski and Mrs. Lura Dodge of Pulaski. Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Foster Hax Funeral Home. Rev. Edwin A. Potter, pastor of the Park United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
