    • Newspaper Obituary - Friday, August 14, 1959 Utica Daily Press - Ilion - Burt Walstrom, 74, of 173 Central Ave., died yesterday in Ilion Hospital after a long illness. He was born September 27, 1884, in Ilion, son of Nelson and Dora Scott Walstrom. He married Gertrude Burdick in Ilion in 1931. A life resident of Ilion, Mr. Walstrom was a meat cutter, at one time owning a market in Central Ave. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Mrs. Albert VanArnam, Ilion; a brother, Arthur Walstrom, Mohawk and a nephew, Leon Walstrom, Mohawk. The funeral will be at 1:30 tomorrow from the Applegate Funeral Home with burial in Armory Hill Cemetery.
