    • Online Obituary - February 2, 2012 Oswego County Today - FULTON, NY - Frederick A. Allen, 73 of Fulton died Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego. He was born in Fulton to the late Albert and Mary (McEwen) Allen. Frederick A. Allen Mr. Allen remained a lifetime resident of Fulton. He was a United States veteran having served in the Marines from 1955 to 1958. Mr. Allen retired from Nestles, Fulton after being a foreman and past president of the RWDSU. He was a member of the Fulton VFW Post #569, and AARP. He also received a certificate of studies from Cornell University for attending and completing a work-study program. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife of 50 years, Madora Allen of Fulton; four children: Frederick (Pamela) Allen Jr., of South Carolina, Paul E. Allen of Utica, NY, Michelle (Charles) Clark of Fulton and Jennifer Allen of Watertown, NY; two brothers: John (Violet) Allen of Florida and Russell Allen of Fulton; 10 grandchildren: Frederick Allen III, Gabriel Allen, Alyssa Allen, Amanda Allen, Tyler Clark, Huntter Clark, Brittany Allen, Emily Mackey, Danielle Mackey and Hannah Mackey; two great-grandchildren: twins Carter and Gionna Allen; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., with Mr. Allen’s son Frederick Allen Jr., officiating. Burial will be held in the spring at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
