    • Newspaper Obituary - February 24, 1998 Post Standard - Marie C. Russell, 84, of county Route 12 died Sunday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home, Oswego. Born in New Haven, she lived in Central Square 50 years. She was member of Caughdenoy United Methodist Church. Her husband, Ralph, died in 1970. Surviving are two sons, Donald of Central Square and Roger of Clayton; three daughters, Betty Swetting of Central Square, Joyce Barone of Ballston Spa and Marlene Smith of Syracuse; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services are noon Wednesday at Caughdenoy United Methodist Church. Spring burial is in Caughdenoy Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Watson Funeral Home, 631 S. Main St., Central Square. Contributions may be made to Caughdenoy United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
