- Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, January 10, 1967 Utica Daily Press - Utica, New York - C. Clinton Hurlbut - Rome - C. Clinton Hurlbut, 60, of 5002 Oswego Road, a Revere Rome Division employee for 30 years, died yesterday in Rose Hospital. He was born in Lewis County, son of John and Millie Hurlbut. He attended Harrisbug and Antwerp schools. He graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in electrical engineering. He married Hazel Irene Harrington in 1937 in Richland. They lived in Rome for 32 years. He was of the Methodist faith. Besides his wife and his mother, in LaFargeville, he leaves two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Canfield, Midwest City, Okla., and Mrs Frank (Alice) Johnston, Malone; a brother, Gerald Hurlbut, LaFargeville. The funeral will be at 1 Thursday with the Martin J. Nunn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today and tomorrow.
