- Newspaper Obituary - February 11, 1925 Pulask Democrat - Pulaski, New York - James Sanderson - James D. Sanderson, well known farmer residing in Port street road died Thursday night following an illness of several months. Mr. Sanderson was born June 26, 1869, at Scriba, and had been a resident of the town of Richland about 45 years. He had followed farming during all these years. He was a member of Pulaski Grange 730, patrons of Husbandry, and had a wide circle of friends thoughout this community. Surviving besides his widow are four sons, Charles Sanderson of Syracuse, Ray Sanderson, Fred Sanderson and Ralph Sanderson, all of Pulaski; five brothers, Harrison Sanderson, Frank Sanderson, and David Sanderson, all of Pulaski, Bert Sanderson and William Sanderson of Syracuse, and two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Fuller of Lacona and Mrs. William V. Whitford of Pulaski. Funeral services were held from the family home at 1:15 o'clock Sunday afternoon and at 2 o'clock in the Methodist Episcopal church of this village. Officiating was Rev. Ernest H. Scott. Burial was in Pulaski cemetery.
