    • Newspaper Obituary - Sunday, January 12, 1997 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Carl N. Peters, Owned Peters Appliance - Carl N. Peters, 67, of 31 S. Jefferson St., died Saturday at his home. Mr. Peters worked at Peters Appliances for the past 50 years, purchasing the business from his father in 1975. He was a member of Park United Methodist Church, a member and past president of Pulaski Lions Club and a former member of the Pulaski Service Club and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He also bowled in several leagues in the Pulaski are for many years. Born August 31, 1929, at Femwood, son of Nelson and Nina Hilton Peters, he lived in Pulaski and Femwood all his life. He graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1948 and married Carolyn L. McLaughlin on September 17, 1950, in Femwood United Methodist Church. The couple lived in Femwood until 1960, when they moved to Pulaski. Mrs. Peters died June 21, 1982. Surviving are four sons, James C., John W. and Joseph N., all of Pulaski, and Jeffrey G., Syracuse; his stepmother, Margaret Peters, Pulaski, 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Spring burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Femwood. Calling hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Pulaski Lions Club or Park United Methodist Church.
