    • Newspaper Obituary - March 25, 1985 Banner Times - Pulaski, New York - Area Deaths - Myrtle L. Brown, aged 87 of the Camp Road, Rexford, New York, died March 15, 1985 at the Saratoga infirmary in Saratoga Springs after a long illess. The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 18 at Foster Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski with Rev. John W. Howell of the Congregational Church officiating. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons, Matthew Brown Jr. of North Syracuse and Robert Brown of Webster, N.Y.; four daughters, Mrs. Annie Matacchiero of Rexford and Mrs. Marion Greene also of Rexford, Mrs. Evelyn Darling of Orwell and Mrs. Lois Tanner of Altmar; thirty-one grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several great-great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Raymond and Archie. She was born Sept. 25, 1897 in Frankfort, N.Y., the daughter of Henry and Genzra Hammond Stewart. She attended Frankfort High School. She married Matthew Brown, Feb. 23, 1918 in Syracuse. Mr. Brown was employed by the Mexico Motor Car Co. for 30 years. He died June 11, 1960. Mrs. Brown resided in Pulaski until 1968, when she moved to Rexford to live with her daughters.
