    • RECENT DEATHS
      Durfey-Died suddenly while on a hunting trip in the Adirondacks, Nov. 11th, Edward Durfey, aged 71 years, of 517 South Fourth street. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Durfey; four sons, Carlton Durfey of Poughkeepsie, Albert and Edward of Fulton, and iHarvey of E.D. 2; one daughter, Mrs. Marian Robinson of R.D. 2; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

      Funeral service were held from State Street Methodist church Thursday afternoon, Rev. Albert Abbott officiating; interment in Mt. Adnah.

      The deceased had been a contractor for over 40 years. He was a native of this city.

      He had been in the woods on a deer hunting trip for the past week with a party consisting of his son, Albert, and grandson, Stephen Durfey, Stanley Willy, Leo St. Onge, Frederick Dingnmn, William Prashaw and David iDunn. Stricken Sunday morning, he was rushed to a doctor's office at Stillwater, but passed away shortly afterwards
