    • Newspaper Obituary - October 13, 1966 Pulaski Democrat - Rites Held For Mrs. Littler - Mrs. Bessie M. Littler, 70, widow of Claude E. Littler, of 7426 Park St., died Monday evening at the House of the Good Samaritan Hospital in Watertown. She had been a patient there since Sept. 18. Services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Swartwout, pastor of the Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. She is survived by four sons, Robert C. Littler of Oneida, G. Harmon and Gordon A. both of Pulaski, Gerald O. Littler of Birmingham, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Sherwood (Marguerite) Jackson of Boonville and Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Lough of Cooperstown; 11 grandchildren and one great grandson, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Littler was born Jan. 26, 1896, the daughter of Ora and Addie Orton Harmon. She attended Pulaski High School and was married to Claude E. Littler in 1914. His death occurred Aug. 7, 1925. Mrs. Littler was a licensed practical nurse doing private duty in the area for many years. More recently she was employed at the Evergreen Nursing Home in Pulaski until her retirement in 1958. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Pulaski Chapter, 159, O. E. S.
