- Viola B. Wardhaugh, 104, of 154 North Seventh Street, Fulton, died Tuesday, July 29, at A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Hannibal, Mrs. Wardhaugh was a life resident of the Fulton area. She retired in 1962 after over 22 years with Sealright Packaging Company in Fulton. Mrs. Wardhaugh was a member of State Street United Methodist Church in Fulton. She was the widow of William Wardhaugh, who died in 1961. She was predeceased by four sons, Thornton, Gordon, Oliver, and Keith Wardhaugh. Surviving are: a son, Douglas Wardhaugh of Fulton; two daughters, Ruby Wardhaugh and Arlene Kinsman both of Fulton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Thursday, July 31, at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Reverend Richard H. Sivers officiated. Burial was at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
