Notes - Jerry L. Jones, Sr., age 71, resident of Pulaski since 1984, passed away Friday at Crouse Irving Hospital in Syracuse. Jerry was born March 26, 1943, the son of Charles and Dorothy Kirk Jones. He graduated from Swissvale, PA High School in 1961. He was employed by Niagara Mohawk as a maintenance mechanic at Nine Mile Point for 25 years, retiring in 1997. He was previously employed by GE for several years. Jerry was a member of Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski.
Surviving are two daughters, Arleen (Randall) Newcomb of Pulaski and Karen (Mark) Bisha of West Monroe; one brother, Charles T. Jones of Canastota; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Jerry was predeceased by one son, Jerry L. Jones, Jr., who passed away July 30, 2008.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY with a spring burial in West Monroe Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. prior to the funeral.
