    • Newspaper Obituary - October 10, 1912 Pulaski Democrat - Meacham District Richland - Early Sunday morning our community was startled by the sudden and unexpected announcement that Mrs. Martha Orton, wife of Ira Orton, was dead. Mrs. Orton was of a quiet and retiring nature, and the community feel they have lost one whom they loved. She was a kind wife, a good mother and was loved by all. On Wednesday before she died, she and her husband visited Mr. and Mrs. Ethel Orton and she seemed so well and planned for a good time October 16 on her daughter's birthday.
