    • Newspaper Obituary - March 1, 1899 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Obituary - Katherine Snyder was born in Sandy Creek 56 years ago. She was united in marriage with George L. Hubbs. To them were born two sons, Irving G. and W. Jay; one daughter, Zella, now Mrs. Albert K. Box. She has resided in Sandy Creek, Altmar and Pulaski, returning to Pulaski twelve years ago, where she has since resided. She has suffered the last few months with trouble which proved to be a tumor on the brain. She went to Syracuse for an operation, which was performed last week Wednesday. The shock was too much for her; she died Thursday morning. The funeral was held on Saturday at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. S. Emmons, assisted by Rev. J. B. Felt. Mrs. Hubbs was a member of the Congregational church in Pulaski and formerly a member of the church of the same denomination at Sandy Creek. She is mourned by a husband, who was favored with a loving and devoted companion, and children whose every interest were constantly receiving her consideration, and by neighbors who knew her only to love her.
