    • Newspaper Obituary - July 2, 1975 Sandy Creek News - Mrs. Caudle, 68, Expires - Mrs. Clarabell Caudle, 68, of the Comfort Road, Sandy Pond, died Saturday, June 21, 1975 at her home after a long illness. She was born November 17, 1906, the daughter of Ray and Hattie Elsworth Seeley, and married James Caudle, July 15, 1949 in Pennsylvania. The couple had lived at their Sandy Pond home for the past twenty years. Mrs. Caudle was employed by the Mack Miller Candle Company of Syracuse, retiring in 1955. She is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Schroeder, Boise, Idaho, and Mrs. Beverly Vandenberg, Syracuse. Also four brothers; Olen, William, Lawrence, and Leo Seeley, all of Syracuse, a sister, Mrs. Elmer Owen, Liverpool; four grandchildren and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Caudle were held Tuesday, June 24th at the O'Brien Funeral Home, Sandy Creek with Rev. Ivan Greenfield, pastor of the Sandy Creek United Methodist Church Officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.

      Newspaper Obituary - June 23, 1975 Syracuse Herald Journal - Mrs. Caudle - Sandy Creek - Services for Mrs. Clarabell Caudle, 68, of Comfort Road, Sandy Pond, who died Saturday at home will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at O’Brien Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Caudle had retired from Mack-Miller Candle Co. of Syracuse in 1955. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Cicero and was a communicant of the Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Scroeder of Boise, Idaho, and Mrs. Beverly Vandenburg of Syracuse; four brothers, Olen, William, Lawrence, and Leo Seeley, all of Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Elmer Owen of Liverpool; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
