    • Newspaper Obituary - June 2, 1915 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - The many friends, and the community where he lived were greatly shocked and grieved to learn of the sudden death of Esick Lighthall which occurred at his home near Altmar, Thursday morning, May 27, 1915, after an illness of only about eighteen hours. Although his life was short he had always been very active among his associates and was much respected by all, always willing to help in anything for the betterment of mankind or his country. He was born August 31, 1867, in the town of Orwell. He leaves to mourn his loss a widow, two daughters, Mrs. Ward Paddock and little Irene, three sons, James, Harry and Carl and two brothers and a sister. His funeral was largely attended from the Methodist church at Richland, Sunday. Mrs Lighthall and family have the sympathy of all their friends and neighbors in their sad bereavement.
