      Joseph S. Denny, 90, formerly of 10 Naomi St., Oswego, and a native of Cape Vincent, died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital.

      The funeral will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego. Burial will be in Bundyville Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 112 E. Second St. Memorial contributions may be made to the extended care facility at Oswego Hospital.

      Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ferris; a son, John; a stepdaughter, Hazel Gilbert; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      Born June 22, 1898, a son of Benjamin and Anna Morley Denny, at Cape Vincent.

      He married Jessie Phillips and Violet Aldrich. They both predeceased him.

      He was retired as a heavy equipment operator from the Oswego County Department of Public Works. He was also employed with Best Ice Cream Co., St. Regis Paper Co. and the Hathaway Baking Co.
