    • Newspaper Obituary - October 3, 1946 Pulaski Democrat - Charles F. Howlett Funeral Friday - Funeral services for Charles F. Howlett, who died Tuesday evening about 11 o'clock at his home, 26 Lake street will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the home. Rev. Frederick L. Anderson will officiate. Mr. Howlett was born Dec. 12, 1867 the son of Frank and Julie Noble Howlett on the Ridge Road out of Sandy Creek. He had lived around Pulaski about 56 years, coming here as a young man to work for the Charles Tollner Sons Co. He remained with the Company for many years. Mr. Howlett was a member of the Pulaski Baptist church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Stewart Howlett, and a daughter, Mrs. Spencer Durgee, Syracuse. Burial will be in Pulaski cemetery.

      Newspaper Obituary - October 9, 1946 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Charles F. Howlett, Former Resident Dies - Charles F. Howlett, 79, died at his home in Pulaski October 1, 1946. Born Dec. 12, 1867 on the Ridge road, town of Sandy Creek, he was the son of Frank and Julia Nobles Howlett. He lived in Pulaski about 56 years, and worked most of his life for the Charles Tollner company, retiring about 12 years ago. After his retirement from the Tollner company, Mr. Howlett conducted a small home dairy for several years. He was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mae E. Howlett, and a daughter, Mrs. Spencer Durgee of Syracuse. Funeral services were conducted at the family home 2 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Frederick L. Anderson of Pulaski Baptist church officiating. Burial was in Pulaski cemetery.
