Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 13, 1923 Oswego Daily Palladium - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Former Railroad Man Found Dead in Richland Basement - Pulaski, December 13 - Charles D. Wright, 74, a retired New York Central worker, was found dead yesterday in the basement of the home in Richland which he had occupied with his sister-in-law, Mrs. Elvira Eggleston. Alfred Ackley, a neighbor, made the discovery after Mrs. Eggleston had notified him that Mr. Wright had not been seen for some hours, and that she was alarmed. Dr. P. D. Bailey, of Orwell, was called but he found that the man had been dead for three or four hours, at least, when found. Mr. Wright was born in Adams, but retired from active work and came to Richland three years ago. He has one son, Willis Wright, of Meirilla, Saskatchewan, and several nephews and nieces in Pulaski.
