    • Frederick T. Weston - August 25, 1861 - July 23, 1929. Son of Owen and Mary Jane Trenham Weston. Husband of Violetta A. Cole Weston.
Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 25, 1929 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Fred T. Weston, one of the most popular rural mail carriers in the section around Richland, died suddenly at his home Tuesday afternoon of heart failure. He had carried the mail on route 2 for the past 27 years. He was a member of the Pulaski Lodge 415, F. & A.M., and a member of the Oswego County Mail Carriers Association. During his early business life he was a clerk in the store of W. D. Streeter. Mr. Weston had carried his mail on the regular trip and upon returning to his home went to the spring across the way from his home for a drink of water, and then returned and sat upon the veranda. One of the neighbors, noticing the strangely quiet attitude in which he sat, investigated and found that he had died. His wife was visiting friends in Orwell and Mr. Weston was at home alone. Fred T. Weston was born in Orwell, August 25, 1861, the son of Owen and Mary J. Weston. About 31 years ago he was married to Miss Lettie Cole of Richland. Surviving are his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Miner of Sandy Creek, and Mrs. Claudia Potter of Orwell; one brother, Richard Weston of Richfield Springs. Mr. Weston had been a resident of Richland for the past 40 years. Funeral services will be conducted in the Disciples church, Richland, at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon.
