      Mrs Jennie L Dingman, 86, widow of the late Charles Dingman a former resident of this community, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Florence Gerow, Mohawk St, Oswego, on April 25, 1945. Mrs Dingman had made her home with her daughter the past four years. Funeral services were held April 27 from the Weston Woodard funeral home, Sandy Creek with the Rev. Herbert Harrison officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs Dingman was born November 4, 1858 in the town of Sandy Creek, the daughter of John and Fannie Davenport Lindo. Her early life was passed in this community where she obtained her education. In 1879 she was married to Charles Dingman, son of Peter and Hannah Shufelt Dingman. Mr Dingman passed away 4 years ago. To them were born four children, Mrs Gerow, Earl Dingman of Lacona, and two sons, Erwin who died in 1910 and Merle who died in 1931. In addition to her two children, she is survived by two brothers, George Lindo of Pulaski and Edward of Oswego, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
