    • Newspaper Obituary - August 31, 1961 Sandy Creek News - Mrs. Annie Jones Dies August 28 - Mrs. Annie B. Jones died Aug. 28, 1961 at Evergreen nursing home, Pulaski. She had been an invalid for many years. The funeral was held at 2 Wednesday at the Weston and Woodard funeral home, Rev. Robert Vining, pastor of Sandy Creek Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn. She was born Aug. 16, 1883 in Brooklyn, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Bingenheimer. She married William H. Jones in Brooklyn in 1906 and in 1910 they moved to Sandy Creek. Mr. Jones, then managing the Victor Store, died May 21, 1929. Four sons survive, William H. and Milton K., Sandy Creek; Clifford S., Vermont, and Wibur N., Erie Pa.; a brother, Peter Bingenheimer, New York and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Sandy Creek Baptist church.
