    • Pulaski schools. She was married to Milton Coon on May 29, 1901, and together they operated a general store in Richland until his death in 1930. Mrs. Coon was a former member of the Richland Methodist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Orla Sprague of Richland and Mrs. Howard (Helen) Pulver of Vestal; one niece and one nephew. Funeral services were Saturday, August 23 at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Pennock of Christ Church Parish officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery.

      Newspaper Article - Wednesday, December 30, 1896 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Richland - Died, at the home of her daughter at Vorea, Mrs. David Coon. Her funeral was held Saturday at the Disciple Church, Rev. Stevens officiating. She was the mother of Mrs. Herbert McClara, of this place.

      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 13, 1897 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Vorea - Mrs. David Coon died December 24, at the residence of her son, William Coon, in Vorea. The funeral was held at Richland, in the Church of Christ, Elder Stevens was the officiating clergyman. She was a great sufferer and welcomed death as a release. She leaves a husband and three children, all married. We extend our sympathy to them in their trouble.
