- Roberta O. Cleveland, 72 of New Haven, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday after a brief illness at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Watertown, NY and raised by parents, Robert F. and Oella Edick in Pulaski, NY.
She will be greatly missed and forever loved by Tom, her husband of 55 years. Roberta's deepest passion was the love and care of her family. She also very much enjoyed genealogy and family history. She authored several books about her research. She was a lifetime member of the Richland Halfshire Association. She was also a long time President of the Williamstown Historical Society.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Jarrett Cleveland.
Roberta is survived by her husband, Tom; her three sons, Michael (Liz), Mark and Matthew (Laurie) Cleveland; two daughters, Lisa Cleveland and Debra (Pat) Morrison; her brother, Robert Edick; and sisters, Glenda (Fred) Stowell and Ann (Dan) Hanks. Roberta deeply cherished her 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Cleveland family greatly appreciates the many, many friends of Roberta.
Arrangements are in care of the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico, NY.
In lieu of flowers, considerations in Roberta's name may be made in care of her grandson, Liam Cleveland, to Joslin Diabetes Center, 3229 East Genesee St., Suite 1, Syracuse NY, 13214.
