Notes - Merton B. Larrabee 63, of Montgomery St., Parish, suffered a fatal heart attack Monday while at work at the L. A. DeGarmo Lumber Co., Parish. A native of Carley Mills, he resided in Parish most of his life. A World War 1 Army veteran, he was a member of the Russell Horning Post 601, American Legion, Parish, and was a member of the Parish 0dd Fellows. Surviving are a son, William Larrabee of Pulaski; three grandsons; three sisters, Mrs. Wells Harter, Mrs. Nellis Fellows of Parish and Mrs. William Menges of Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Walter Larrabee of Parish; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Harter Funeral Home, Parish, the Rev. Frank Halse of Parish Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Hastings Cemetery in the spring.
