      William Albert Sandner Sr. May 11, 2003

      William Albert Sandner Sr. of Ontario, passed peacefully at home in the company of loved ones. He is survived by his wife Sarah Peirce-Sandner; son William; daughters, Marcia LaManna and Margaret Francher; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Krista, Jake, Jason, Jesse, Pamela, William III; cousins, Lorraine Imonti, Pauline Clough. A decorated veteran of the US Army Airborne Division, he later served as harbormaster in Berlin. He pursued a varied career in the heating and air conditioning industry. He was an avid sailor, mechanic, and golfer and kind companion to many stray animals including Munchkin, Spooker, Thomas and Zootfish.

      A Memorial Mass celebrating his life will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 15 at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, Ontario followed by interment in his home town of Methuen, MA. Memorials in his name may be directed to the Veterans Administration, Canandaigua, NY or the Humane Society at Lollipop Farm. Arrangements by MURPHY FUNERAL HOME.
