Newspaper Obituary - Friday, July 27, 1979 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Ruth M. Ivens, 83, of RD 1, Ivens Road Pulaski, died this morning at the Oswego Hospital where she had been a patient since Monday. Born February 15, 1896 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of George and Maude Crocker Hilton. She attended Pulaski schools and was married March 30, 1918 to Raymond Ivens. They resided on the Ivens Road all their married life. Mr. Ivens died in 1963. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Allen (Ruby) Smith of Mexico, and Mildred and Bertha Ivens both of Pulaski; six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, one sister Mrs. Hazel Brown of Nevada; one brother Paul Hilton of Oswego, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home in Pulaski with the Rev. Allen Lum of United Methodist Church in New Haven, officiating. Burial will be at Daysville Cemetery in Richland. Calling hours will be Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
