    • Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, March 17, 1992 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Pulaski Resident, Ruth E. Lawton, Dies At 73 - Ruth E. Lawton, 73, Springbrook Apartments, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery, town of Richland. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Surviving are a son, George W., Tucson, Arizona; two daughters, Joyce Bremm, Lacona, and Jeannette Gayne, Pulaski; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Harrington, Mapleview, and Joanne Bortles, Phoenix. Born April 19, 1918, in Pulaski, daughter of George and Susie Moore Piddock, she attended Pulaski schools. She retired in 1980 after eight years with P&C Food Markets, and was previously employed many years with the Syracuse China Corp. A marriage ended in divorce. Mrs. Lawton was a life resident of Pulaski. She was a member of the Park United Methodist Church and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and was secretary of the Springbrook Tenants Association.
