DOROTHY BUTLER EDICK WOLNER
Obituary
Edick Wolner May 24, 2006 Dorothy Butler Edick Wolner, age 92, of Pulaski, died Tuesday at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home in Watertown. Born in Cazenovia on July 29, 1913, she was the daughter of George A. and Florence Webber Butler. She graduated from the Pulaski School System in 1931 and from SUNY Cortland in 1935. Dorothy was a kindergarten teacher at Pulaski Elementary School for 18 years and the Albany area for three years, retiring in 1970. She spent 31 winters in the Lake Worth, FL, area with summers in Pulaski. Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband, Donald G. Edick, in 1965, and her husband, Arthur F. Wolner, in 1980. She is also predeceased by one brother, Maxwell (Margaret) Butler. Surviving: one daughter, Jacqueline (John) Heckle of Sun City Center, FL; two sons, Donald (Laura) Edick of Sandy Pond, George (Karen) Edick of Salt Lake City, UT; one brother, Harry (Loretta) Butler of Sun City Center, FL; six grandchildren; three great-grandsons. Graveside services will be held at a date to be announced at the Pulaski Cemetery, with Rev. James Tschudy officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Congregational UCC Church, 27 Lake Street, Pulaski, NY 13142, in Dorothy's memory. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski.
