- Erwin N. Kistner, age, 72, resident of Pulaski, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, with his family by his side. Erwin was born January 9, 1952, the son of Norman and Dorthea Wagner Kistner. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1971. He served in the United States Navy Reserves for 16-years before retiring in 2001. Ewin was married to his wife of 51-years, Sandra Dingman Kistner on June 16, 1973. He was employed by Finger Lakes Railway in Geneva for 13-years. He had previously been employed by Schoeller Technical Paper in Pulaski for 31 years.
Erwin was a former member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Pulaski and most recently attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Colosse. He was a former volunteer with the Orwell and Richland Fire Departments. Edwin loved railroading and volunteered at Rail City in Sandy Creek, Sea Shore Trolly Museum in Maine and the Adirondack Scenic Railroad in Thendara.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Kistner of Pulaski, two children, Jason “Jake” Kistner and Michelle Kistner, both of Pulaski.
