Donna A. Turtura, age 74, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse with her family by her side. Donna was born January 6, 1949, in Pulaski, the daughter of David and Hope Rankin Williams. Donna was married to Bernard Turtura for 50 years and he passed away in 2019. She was employed by Kinney Drugs in Pulaski for 20 years and had previously been employed by Wayne Drugs and Rite Aid in Pulaski. She attended the Fernwood Methodist Church and was a member of the Pulaski Historical Society.
Surviving, are one daughter, Lori (Timothy) Rice of Pulaski, two sons, Timothy (Rose) Turtura of Liverpool, and Garrett Turtura of Oswego, two sisters Edith Hughes of Florida and Cynthia Jaques of Texas, and one brother James Williams of North Carolina, and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Donna was predeceased by her sister Jackie (David) Monroe of Johnson City.
A memorial service will be held at the Dugway United Methodist Church, 1722 Route 104, Parish, NY on January 28, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Food will follow the ceremony. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski.
