Archer, 70, of 34 Pine Street, died Thursday at his home. Mr. Archer was employed by the Oswego County Highway Department for 20 years, retiring in 1972. Born April 27, 1927, in West Martinsburg, son of Roy and Edith Denslow Archer, he was a 1945 graduate of Pulaski High School and was a Navy veteran of World War IL He married Astrid Soderlund March 30, 1948. Mrs. Archer died February 14, 1985. Mr. Archer was past president and treasurer of Ringgold Fire Department and a member of Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358. Surviving are a son, Raymond, Pulaski; two brothers, Gerald G. Archer, Pulaski, and Ralph B. Denslow, Boonville; a sister, Juanita R. Tatten, Pulaski; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Ringgold Fire Department, I ake Street, Pulaski. New York 13142.

      Harold R. Archer, 70, of 34 Pine St., died Thursday at his home.

      Mr. Archer was employed by the Oswego County Highway Department for 20 years, retiring in 1972.

      Born April 27, 1927, in West Martinsburg, son of Roy and Edith Denslow Archer, he was a 1945 graduate of Pulaski High School and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

      He married Astrid Soderlund March 30, 1948. Mrs. Archer died Feb. 14, 1985.

      Mr. Archer was past president and treasurer of Ringgold Fire Department and a member of Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358.
