    • Newspaper Obituary - May 25, 2004 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - May 22, 2004 - Norma V. Gareau, 87, of Oswego, formerly of Spring Brook Apartments, Pulaski, died Saturday. She was born in Pulaski and graduated from Mexico High School. She was a member of R.S.V.P. and was a past president of Spring Brook Apartments Tenants Association. Her husband Robert died in 1971. Survivors: a daughter, Dolores Gadway, and son, Carl Gareau, both of Pulaski; a brother, Robert VanAlstyne of Oswego; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 28, at North Country Christian Church, Salisbury Street, Lacona, NY. Contributions in Norma's memory may be made to North Country Christian Church.
