Deceased Name: REX B. ROSSMAN, PULASKI, DIES
Rex B. Rossman, 74, of 70 North St., died Tuesday at Oswego Hospital.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery with full military honors.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Ringgold Fire Department, Pulaski, or Northern Oswego County Ambulance.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; three sons, Terry M., Pulaski, Dennis J., Penfield, and Steven A., Orwell; a sister, Irma Derby, Auburn, and eight grandchildren.
Born Nov. 22, 1921, son of Charles and Flora Phelps Rossman, he was a lifetime resident of Pulaski. He attended Pulaski Academy High School.
Mr. Rossman served in the Army from 1942 to 1945, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and the D-day invasion.
He married Anna Deyneka on June 14, 1947.
Mr. Rossman retired in 1983 after 33 years as a bus driver and custodian with the Pulaski School District.
He was a former member of Robert Edwards Post 358 of the American Legion, Amvets of Pulaski, Pulaski Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289 and the Pulaski Lions Club. He was a life member of Lacona Cable Trail Post VFW, and an honorary member of Ringgold Fire Department.
