      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 12, 1945 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - Maple View Man Dies Thursday - Charles Ira Cleveland died at his home at Maple View last Thursday morning. He was a native of Boylston, being born there January 25, 1884, son of Newton and Elizabeth King Cleveland. He spent the early part of his life in Boylston. In 1915, he married Elizabeth Allen of Pulaski. The couple resided at Mannsville, where he was a farmer until 1928, when Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland moved to Pulaski. They resided there until November, 1944, when they moved to Maple View. Survivors are his wife; one son, Herbert Cleveland, Maple View; two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Short of Pulaski, and Mrs. Angie Sanderson, Mexico; one brother, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home of his son in Maple View, with the Rev. Ira Owens, pastor of Maple View Community church, officiating. Burial was in Willis cemetery.
